Making connections that count since 1980!
Get Involved
Our primary mission is to support your goals for personal and professional development as well as networking with other professional women. How are we doing? Let us know! Your support is vital to our organization. Comprised almost entirely of volunteers, it is through member participation, ideas and support that WWB will continue to grow and thrive.

Our monthly programs are merely the tip of the iceberg.  Members find that increased participation in the organization is the only way to take full advantage of all the benefits of membership.  WWB offers many avenues to increase your participation, and in turn, enrich your benefits.  Contact Kristen Shaw, WWB President, to volunteer kshaw@wwd-cpa.com or 302.254.8240.

Host a Program Meeting

The Program Host acts as the event coordinator for the evening.   The Program Host works with the Board Program Chair to promote the speaker (who had already been chosen in advance) to members through the newsletter.  She also introduces the speaker and confirms that the speaker’s needs have been met.  Program Hosts will be recognized in the newsletter and on the night of the event.

Program Greeter

Would you like to meet and get to know more members of WWB? Do you attend monthly WWB monthly dinner meetings on a fairly regular basis? Be a greeter at a monthly WWB dinner meeting! Meet and greet new members and guests as they arrive for the evening. Make them feel welcome and direct them to board members if they have specific questions.

Promote WWB at Expos

Staff the WWB booth at events such as the Entrepreneurial Women’s Expo and the Delaware Women’s Conference.  Take advantage of the opportunity to meet other people.  It’s a great way to promote YOU!

Photographer

Do you own a digital camera? Do you attend WWB monthly dinner meetings on a fairly regular basis?

Take pictures for the newsletter.  Remember to include who you are and where you work for the byline in the newsletter.

Exhibit at a Program

Exhibit space is available at most dinner meetings.  The cost of exhibiting is $50 members, $50 non-profits, and $60 non-members.  The first 30 minutes of the meeting prior to the speaker enables the attendees to explore exhibits and network.
